Some games include of hockey, skiing, weight lifting, volleyball, sand volleyball, football etc. Olympics are the pattern of all sports mixed up into one giant game. Olympics include all countries around the world. Winter Olympic sports happen in the winter of course, some indoor and some outdoor. Olympics might be the best thing that ever happened in this world because of what events are in the Olympics, and because winter sports might be the most engaging type of sports in the Olympic. First, Modern Olympics have many different type of sports. The first Modern Olympic Games were held on April 6th, 1896. The games were in the city of Athens and the country of Greece. This beautiful elegant city would be perfect for the first Modern Olympics, evolved from the Ancient Olympics (“History.com”). The Olympics had a wide variety of sports that included skiing, skating, weightlifting, curling, boxing, wrestling, football, ice hockey, etc (Olympic.org). Well, the Modern Olympics had a great place to start, and wonderful events that take and or took place in them. Finally, Winter Olympics might be the favorite type of Olympics that happened. Many might believe skating is the best Winter Olympic sport because there are many types of skating such as figure, speed, and short skating (Olympic.org).
